Hi! 🖌 My name is Melanie,

UX/UI designer in San Francisco, California. I am a natural researcher, visual artist, and empath. I use my skills and creativity to find out what makes people tick.

Since I spent most of my life working as a creative in community and educational settings I use a great deal of my skills to make designs that pay attention to what people learn and how they can access it best.

Current work in progress:

👩🏽‍🎓 Creating an app for special education teachers to assist in tracking and assessing student data with a volunteer led team on Code for San Francisco.

🚲 Adding a control interface to an augmented reality experience for a 3D urban planning tool for government transit planning professionals and community advocates, again with a volunteer led team on Code for San Francisco.

⛸ Surveying roller skaters to create an app to set and track personal fitness goals and find skater locations and social events.
